Guest Teacher

Furqaan Academy is looking for highly energetic, enthusiastic candidates passionate about teaching our young children in Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School departments. New, experienced, and Subject teachers are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree however, candidates with relevant experience may be considered.
• Substitute teaching license preferred
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred;
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and dynamics.
• Must be able to legally work in the United States
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Guest Teacher to provide temporary classroom coverage in the absence of regular teachers. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage classroom dynamics and maintain a productive learning environment while delivering pre-planned lessons.

• Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment, ensuring that students adhere to school rules and behavioral expectations.
• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, adapting as necessary to meet the needs of the students.
• Foster student participation and engagement in learning activities, promoting a positive educational experience.
• Monitor student progress during lessons, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of instruction and report any relevant information regarding student behavior or performance.
• Uphold school policies and procedures, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
