The Full Time Hifdh class is a religious education program which through the effort of the students, under the supervision of the teachers, the dedication of the parents, and ultimately through the blessing of Allah (SWT) will facilitate efficient and effective completion of the memorization of the Ouran.
This is the first and most important assignment of each school day. Students are expected to recite an assigned portion of what they have already memorized in previous Juz (between half to one Juz based on their current status) every weekday. Without reciting the Ammukta students will NOT be allowed to recite Para-Sabaq or Sabaq.
This is the second assignment of the day. It consists of reciting from the beginning of the current Juz that the student is memorizing up until their new Sabaq. Without reciting the Para-Sabaq students will NOT be allowed to recite Sabaq.
This is the third and final assignment of the day. It consists of the newly memorized lesson after the Para-Sabaq. As one can see, the correct and timely recitation of Ammukta and Para-Sabaq is the ONLY way the student can consistently progress in Hifdh.
Students are required to read 2 hours every weekday at home in order to complete their assigned lessons for the next day. Over the weekend/holidays they are required to read a minimum of 3 hours each day.
After the completion of the attached lesson for each new Juz, the student will only be allowed to move to the next Juz after reciting the Juz in its entirety to the teachers satisfaction as well as passing a random spot test of that Juz.
Students should meet the following requirements for graduating as a Hafidh:
