Furqaan Academy online is looking for dynamic teachers who can inspire, actively engage students’ minds by incorporating enjoyable activities and cooperative learning projects. Teachers are well versed in Technology.

• Computer literate.  Personal computer with a built-in or separate webcam.
• Quick and steady internet connection. Wifi.
• Headset with a microphone.
• A well-lit, distraction-free environment from which to conduct your lessons.
• Professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in English Language/Writing.
• Certificate Preferred 
• Social Studies Knowledge, ability to teach it.

High School English Teacher Responsibilities:

• Reading all prescribed novels, poetry, and additional resources to gain a thorough understanding before developing lesson plans 

• Preparing students for formal and informal assessments.

• Grading tests, pop quizzes, assignments, exams, and other assessments, and communicating with parents, students, teachers, and counselors regarding underperformance and other concerns.

• Integrating Islam in teaching style every time the opportunity arises. 

• Ensuring all curriculum, school, and state requirements are met.

• Assessing student needs and providing support or extra resources to struggling students as well as exceptional achievers.

• Using technology to improve lesson delivery and recordkeeping.

• Expanding teacher networks and participating in workshops, lectures, and other learning opportunities.
